Ace - If something is ace it is brilliant.
Aggro - Short for aggravation.
Bang - This is a rather unattractive way of describing having sex.
Barmy - You have gone mad or crazy.
Belt up - It's the British for shut up.
Bender - it means a pub crawl or a heavy drinking session.
Bladdered - Another way of saying you are drunk.

Blooming - Another alternative to the word bloody.
Bollocks - Ttypically used to describe something that is no good (that's bollocks) or that someone is talking rubbish (he's talking bollocks).
Bugger - Today we might use the sh** or the f*** words but bugger is still as common. It can also be used to tell someone to get lost (bugger off).
Chat up - To chat someone up is to try and pick them up.
Cheeky - Very naughty and a little bite rude but in a attractive and charismatic way.
Cheerio - A friendly way of saying goodbye.
Cheers - This word is obviously used when drinking with friends. Thank you.
Cheesed off - This is a polite way of saying you are pissed off with something.
Chuffed - You would be chuffed to bits if you were really pleased about something.
Cock up - A cock up means you have made a mistake.
Cracking - If something is cracking, it means it is the best.
Crikey - Exclamation of surprise.
Daft - It basically means stupid.
Dishy - It means they are attractive or good looking.
Fagged - It means you can't be Bothered.
Fortnight - Two weeks.
Full monty - It just means the whole thing or going the whole way.
Full of beans - This means to have loads of energy.
Get stuffed! - Even politer way to tell someone to get lost is to tell them to get stuffed.

Gormless - A gormless person is someone who has absolutely no clue.
Grub - Food. Similar to nosh.
Gutted - If someone is really upset by something they might say that they were gutted.
Hanky panky - or "slap and tickle" as some older folks call it - would be making out.
How's your father? - This is a very old term for sex which plays on our apparent British sensitivity. Rather than saying the actual "sex" word you could refer to having a bit of How's your Father.
Jammy - If you are really lucky or flukey.
Knackered - Basically worn out, good for nothing, tired out, knackered.
Knees up - If you're having a knees up, you're going to a dance or party.
Knock up - This means to wake someone up.
Leg it - This is a way of saying run or run for it.
Mate - Mate means friend or chum.
Mug - If someone is a bit of a mug, it means they are gullible.
Nancy boy - If someone is being pathetic you would call them a nancy.
Nark - If someone is in a nark, it means they are in a bad mood, or being grumpy.
Nick - To nick is to steal.
Nosh - Food. You would refer to food as nosh.
On your bike - A very polite way of telling someone to f*** off.
Porridge - Doing porridge means to serve time in prison.
Potty - if you are potty it means you are a little crazy, a bit of a looney.
Prat - Yet another mildly insulting name for someone.
Put a sock in it - This is one way of telling someone to shut up.
Shag - To have sex..
Skive - To skive is to evade something. When I was a kid we used to skive off school.
Slag - To slag someone off, is to bad mouth them in a nasty way. Usually to their face.
Slapper - A slapper is a female who is a bit loose. A bit like a slag or a tart.
Smashing - it means it is terrific.
Snog - It would probably be referred to as making out.
Sod - If someone is a sod or an "old sod" then it means they are a bit of a bastard.
Sorted - When you fixe a problem you might say "sorted".
Starkers - It means stark naked.
Ta - Short for thanks.
Throw a spanner in the works - This is an expression that means to wreck something.
Tosser - This is another word for wanker.
Wacky backy - This is the stuff in a joint, otherwise known as pot or marijuana!
Wanker/Wally - Derogatory term used to describe someone who is a nerd, geek or loser.
